DELMAR- Hilda W. Disharoon, 81, of Delmar, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, June 21, 2014 while residing at Salisbury Nursing Home. She was born December 18, 1932 in Seaford, a daughter of the late Roland Lee Willey and Roberta Dean Willey-Daft. Hilda was a member of Melson United Methodist Church. After years of service in the dry cleaning industry, she retired from Peninsula Dry Cleaners of Seaford in 2008. Hilda is survived by two sons, Thomas B. Dorman (Hope) and Timothy B. Dorman; a daughter, Mary "Robin" Horner; and her beloved daughter-in-law, Vicki Dorman. She is also survived by her brother. R. Kenneth Willey, Sr.; and seven precious grandchildren, Melanie Dorman, Tiffany Meyers, Olivia Remsburg, Robert Bailey, Mark Gwaltney, Amber Dorman and Kelly Dorman. Additionally, she is survived by eleven great grandchildren, her loving church family and several dear friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death 2 sisters and a brother. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Melson United Methodist Church, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00. Pastor John Oltman will officiate. Food and fellowship will be held immediately following the services at the Melson Community Hall. Interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Seaford. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Melson United Methodist Church, 32705 Melson Road, Delmar, MD 21875.Arrangements are being handled by Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
