Helen Elizabeth "Beth" Pope, 58, of Salisbury, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at her home in Salisbury. She was born on September 4, 1958 in Milford, a daughter of Ann and Keith Jones and the late Ernest Lee Pope. She graduated from Delmar High School in 1976 and was currently employed at Drs. Yonker and Kemp in Berlin, Maryland. She was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church in Delmar. Beth was a huge Redskins and NASCAR fan. She loved her cats and especially loved it when it snowed. If she had her way it would be okay to snow all year long. She is survived by her two sons, Mark Truitt (Jaime) and Michael Truitt (Dawn);and her granddaughter, Jade Truitt who was the apple of her eye; a sister, Bobbi Ann Green (Jay); a niece, Tallie Figgs (Lonnie); a nephew, Brian Green (Kari); great nieces and nephews, Seth, Luke, Cassie, Ellie, Bryce and Gavin; stepmother, Marilyn Pope; two step sisters; two step brothers; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Robert and Helen Phillips and Milton and Elizabeth Pope. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at All Saints Episcopal Church on N. 10th Street in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00 to 12:30. The Reverend Kenneth Athey will officiate.
