Helen M. Morris, 86, of Delmar passed away Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, Maryland. Mrs. Morris was born November 20, 1921, in Illinois, the daughter of the late Walter and Ethel Pennington Brimberry. She was a homemaker and a devoted mother, grandmother, and aunt. Helen was a member of St. Stephen's United Methodist Church in Delmar. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Darrell Hagar of Delmar; a son and daughter-in-law, Henry and Kwi Ja Morris of Seoul, Korea; grandchildren Erin Hagar and her husband Paul Smith, Amy Hagar Berman and her husband Brandon Berman, and Ben Hagar; great grandchildren Hannah and Gordon Smith; a brother-in-law, Robert S. Morris, Sr. of Melbourne, FL; nieces Margaret Gorzka, Patricia O'Leary, Susan Archer and Mary Ann Roebuck; and a nephew, Dr. Robert S. Morris, Jr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry G. Morris, Jr. A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Stephen's United Methodist Church, 101 E. State Street in Delmar. The Reverend Marsha Carpenter will officiate. Interment will be held in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
