Helen B. Davidson, formerly of Milton, passed away at Milford Memorial Hospital on Thursday, January 14th, on what was her 95th birthday. For the past five years, Miss Davidson resided at The Heritage in Milford. She was a member of Goshen United Methodist Church in Milton where she was a former member of the choir and choir director. She was also a member of the Milton Senior Center. Helen was employed with Melvin Joseph Construction Co. and WJWL Radio in the accounting departments. Helen was a caring, positive, and kind lady who was also a devout Christian. She valued her independence, living alone in her own home for several years before deciding to move to an independent facility where she would be surrounded by friends during her everyday life. She was compassionate, quick witted and observant. Helen was a voracious reader and kept up to date with current events. She always remembered and acknowledged birthdays and special events of her friends. Helen touched many lives and will be sorely missed by many of her friends. A viewing for family and friends will be held on Sunday, January 17th, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street, Delmar, with services to follow at 2:00.
