Heather Lynea Witmer, age 8, of Delmar, passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at her home. She was born on December 9, 2010 in Seaford, Delaware. She is survived by her parents, Roy and Teresa Witmer; sisters, Makayla, Sierra, Megan, and Daryen; grandparents, Claire Witmer, Phil Good, and Karen Good; aunts and uncles, Phyllis and Jake Amstutz, Shirley Witmer, Carla and Mark Byers, Brenda and James Yoder, Lynette and Eddie Montero, Eldon and Marilyn Witmer, Kristina and Michael Eberly, Tanya and Marcus Mast, Andrea and Marlen Schlabach, Kendra and David Hooley, and Kara and Stephen Miller; and 45 cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Florence Witmer. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Salisbury Mennonite Church, 14592 Pepperbox Road, Delmar, DE. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the Christian Community Center, 408 Gordy Road, Salisbury, MD. Interment will follow the service in Salisbury Mennonite Church Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
