SALISBURY- Heather Renee Selph, 26, of Salisbury, Maryland passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. She was born December 10, 1984 in Seaford, Delaware to Ruth Marie Giacalone and her husband, Lou of Salisbury and Michael D. Selph of Salisbury. Heather attended Maryland School for the Blind in Baltimore, from where she graduated in 2005. She was an inspiration to many as she was always happy. She loved music and enjoyed traveling and experiencing different places and things. She was a member of Delmarva Evangelistic Church in Salisbury. The family extends special thanks to all of her friends at Dove Pointe. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her great grandmother, Ruth Robinson of Delmar; grandparents, Sam and Nellie Nuckols of Selbyville, Milton and Lu Ann James of Laurel and Mary Selph of Laurel; and aunts and uncles, Rebecca Snyder of Selbyville, Todd James of Laurel, Lisa Peterman of Laurel and Randy Selph, Jr. of Laurel. She is also survived by several cousins. She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Randy Selph, Sr. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Delmarva Evangelistic Church in Salisbury, where family and friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00. The Reverend Ruth Chamberlain will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Laurel.
