Gillian B. Radcliffe, nee Prior, age 63, of Mardela Springs, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 2, 2007. She was born June 10, 1943 in Cambridge, England, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Ernest Leslie Prior and Constance Evelyn Chapman Prior. *Proverbs 31:10-31*. She was devoted wife, mom and homemaker who loved the Lord and family with all of her heart. She always put others first and herself last. Her children pray and hope that they love Jesus and their spouses as much as their mother did. They thank and honor their mother for always having Jesus in their lives as they were growing up. She was such a blessing to the entire family. Mrs. Radcliffe attended the Salisbury Baptist Temple and enjoyed the teachings of Pastor Leto. She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, John J. Radcliffe; Her children, Heather Covington, Vanessa Perdue, James Radcliffe and Holly Morris; 7 grandchildren, John Ward, Jr., Zachary Handy, David Handy, Michael Covington, Daniel Covington, Dainry Dugan and Seari Dugan; and a brother, John Colin Prior and his wife Ann of Cambridge, England. A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 8, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street, Delmar, where family and friends may call from 11:00 to 12:00. Pastor Carlo Leto will officiate. Interment will follow the services at Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Hurlock, MD.
