Geraldine P. Mason, age 66, of Salisbury, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2007, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. She was born on January 14, 1940 in Washington, DC, a daughter of the late Andrew Thomas Parks and Cora Mae Bell Parks. Geraldine was an active member of Fruitland Christian Church and attended weekly until her illness. She cherished her family and spending time with them was what she loved the most. Birdwatching was a favorite pastime for her. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Richard Mason; a son, and daughter-in-law, Scott P. Mason and Kim of Salisbury; and a grandson, Caleb. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Lois Parks of Princess Anne and Audrey Burke of Fruitland, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Lewis. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street, Delmar, where family and friends may call Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 or one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow the services at Springhill Memory Gardens near Hebron.
