Georgette Anna Albert, 75, of Delmar, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at TidalHealth Nanticoke in Seaford. She was born May 30, 1945 in Paterson, New Jersey, a daughter of the late George and Mildred King. Georgette retired after many years of service as a telephone interviewer for Trans Data Corp. in Salisbury. She was a member of the Delmar VFW Post 8276 ladies auxiliary and for many years volunteered her time helping the US Marine Corps Reserves in Ocean View. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and "Mom" to all of her children's friends. They will certainly miss hearing her signature "Hey Punkin" whenever they saw her. Her motherly love also extended to her "grand dogs." Georgette was a wonderful cook and also enjoyed astrology, horoscopes, crossword puzzles, was an avid reader and a life-long, devoted N.Y. Giants fan. She is survived by her beloved husband of almost 54 years, Henry B. Albert, Jr.; 4 children who she was so proud of, Jim Flurchick of Pennsylvania, Dori Flurchick of Delmar, Cheryl Albert of Laurel and David Alexander Albert, Sr. of Crisfield; much-loved grandchildren, Jamie Flurchick, Felicia Flurchick, Fallon Flurchick, Billy Belote, Jr., David Albert, Jr. and Nicholas Albert; and nine great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Henry "Hanky" Albert, Jr.; a daughter-in-law; and two sons-in-law. Services will be private with interment in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro.
