George H. Kohler, Jr., 78, of Hebron, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at his home in Hebron. He was born on December 6, 1936 in Towson, Maryland, a son of the late George and Jeanette Kohler. George served as superintendent for the Holly Center in Salisbury for many years. He was an avid shooter, hunter and fisherman. His family loved spending time with him, and he will be remembered for being a wonderful father and grandfather. He is survived by a son, Karl Kohler and his wife Jennifer Kohler of Hebron; grandchildren, Karl, Kevin, Michael, and Ebony; several great-grandchildren; and sisters, Roseanne Foohey and Sally English. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carole Ann Kohler and a daughter, Lynn Kohler. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Pastor Ray Justice will officiate. In memory of Mr. Kohler, contributions may be sent to Coastal Hospice, P.O.
