George W. Garron, III, 70, of Milford, passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021, at BayHealth Sussex Campus in Milford. He was born July 31, 1951, in York, Pennsylvania, a son of George W. Garron, II of Georgetown and the late Josephine DiGiacomo Beck and Donald E. Beck. After graduation, George proudly served his country in the USAF from 1971 to 1973. After he returned home to Baltimore, he worked many years in an electrical porcelain manufacturing plant in Baltimore before joining the Home Depot family. He moved to Delaware to help open the Home Depot in Lewes and loved helping customers select major household appliances. He retired in 2019. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Milford for several years. In addition to his father, he is survived by his beloved wife, Lucille "Lucy" Ann (Poppish) Garron; a son, George M. Garron; a sister, Paula Garron Norman and her husband Allan of Georgetown. A service with military honors at the Delaware Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Millsboro will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to his favorite charity, Bread of Life, 920 Center Church Road, East Earl, PA 17519. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
