Frederick Alan Hearne, 70, of Delmar passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury. He was born on August 14, 1950 in Delmar, Maryland, a son of the late Fred and Mary (Ward) Hearne. Alan worked as a mechanic and Maryland State Inspector for Messick's Auto Sales in Salisbury, until his retirement. He was a member of the Salisbury Gun Club and enjoyed bowling for many years. He is survived by his wife, Beverly J. Hearne; daughter, Kelly Wilhelmi (Tyson); granddaughter, Addison Wilhelmi; aunt and uncle, Ruth and Leon Carey; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Steven Thomas Hearne; and a sister, Doris Lowe. The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional for the outstanding care given to Alan, and a big thank you to Deer's Head State Hospital Kidney Dialysis Unit for the exceptional, gentle, compassionate care they also gave to him. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Melson's Cemetery in Delmar. The Reverend John Oltman will officiate.
