Obituary

Frank Allen Nauman, 79, of Laurel, Delaware passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at TidalHealth Nanticoke in Seaford, Delaware. He was born on December 3, 1944 in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Stanley Raymond Nauman and Viola M. (Bender) Nauman. After high school, Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He later went on to own and operate F.A. Nauman Trucking and also worked for Pocono Excavators. He spent over 50 years in the International Union of Operating Engineers 542. When he lived in Pennsylvania, he served in the Barret Township Vol. Fire Company and for the Forest Fire Crew 34. He also served in the Pocono Masonic Lodge #780 F and A.M., and was a member for over 50 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah M. Nauman; brother, George B. Nauman; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Terrilyn Nauman; sister, E. Jean Savage; and brothers, Paul E. Nauman, John R. Nauman, and Charles M. Nauman. Services will be held at a later date. In memory of Mr. Nauman, contributions may be sent to Pet Medical Center, 35430 Sussex Highway, Delmar, DE 19940 to help pets in need which was a cause dear to his heart.
