Frances S. "Suzi" Wockenfuss Stevenson, 70, of Delmar passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at PRMC in Salisbury, Maryland. She was born on July 8, 1944 in Flint, Michigan, a daughter of the late Bernard and Beatrice Wockenfuss. Suzi, known better as mom or Mommom to most. She is best remembered for her unconditional love, caring and kindness to all. She was a great wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She did so much for others especially all of her "adopted" children and grandchildren from around the world. She gave so many wonderful memories to remember her by. She was a member of 3C-USA Church and had been an advocate for commercial fisherman. She will always be loved and remembered. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Thor M. Stevenson of Delmar; a son, Baron J. Stevenson (Lisa) of Magnolia, DE; two daughters, Tara S. Skipper (Joe) of Collinsville, IL, and Rana Stevenson of Delmar; grandchildren, Ryann Schafer, Tyler Stevenson, Brianna Stevenson, Trey Skipper, Grace Skipper and Ava Marie Stevenson Dahlstrom; sisters, Katie Parker (Bobby) of Millsboro and Betsy Spence of Michigan; step-brothers, Kurt Cordes of Washington, Craig Cordes of Utah, and Carl Cordes of Hawaii; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Lynn Lundy; and a step-brother, Keith Cordes. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2015 at 3C-USA Church, 38238 Old Stage Road, Delmar, Delaware. A time of fellowship will immediately follow the service.
