Obituary

Faye Delores Widgeon, born on March 30, 1949, in Milford, Delaware, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 23, 2024. She was a daughter of the late Preston and Martha Marie (Lare) Kenton. She lived a life filled with love. Faye cherished her role as a homemaker, where she poured her love into her family and her many beloved pets. Faye had an exceptional ability to appreciate the beauty in God's creation often found arranging flowers or watching the birds flutter through her yard. Faye delighted in playing slots and relished trips to Harrington Raceway and Casino, creating joyful memories with her husband, David Widgeon, who she cherished deeply. Together, they co-owned Widgeon Enterprises, where their partnership extended beyond business, fostering a lasting bond filled with mutual respect and laughter. Faye is survived by her beloved husband, David; her daughter, Angela Nicole "Nikki" Keller (Shawn) of Glen Allen, VA; her stepdaughter, Tiffany Ralph (Scott) of Delmar; her step son, Troy Widgeon (Debra) of Tennessee; her cherished grandchildren, Brennen Ralph (Autumn), Chelsea Forse (Kevin), Chandler Pellegrin, and Cameron Keller; and great grandchildren, Brinlee, Keegan, Amelia, and Grey. Each of them carries forward her legacy of love and kindness. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Paul Kenton. In celebration of her life, family and friends will gather for a graveside funeral service to be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Berlin. Though Faye's physical presence may be gone, her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her. As we commemorate her life, we remember her vibrant laughter, her immense capacity for love, and the wonderful memories she created with those around her. May she rest in peace, embraced by the love she shared with all. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Coastal Hospice, P.O.
