Eva D. Bankard, 63, passed away at Tidal Health Peninsula Regional hospital in Salisbury, MD on Wednesday, June 23, 2021. Born Eva Darlene White on September 29,1957 to the late Nathaniel Joseph White, Jr. and the late Mildred Bowden Lane. Eva was a dedicated employee of Lab Corp for a number of years. As the Team Lead for the Seaford and Salisbury area and she will be missed by her many co-workers. In her earlier years she was a daycare mother to many. Survived by her loving children, Anna Adkins and husband Mike, Bobbie Jo Torres and husband Victor, Richard Lee Bankard, Jr, and wife Chezsie-Ann, Crystal Thomas. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Hannah & (M.J.), C.J, Jacob, Grace, Hayden, Alexandra, Silas, Richard III, and 1 great grandson Rylee. Cherishing the many memories of her are her sisters Sue Hurley, Anna Davis and her husband Bob, Twila VanVliet and her husband Mike, and Barbara Downes and her husband Alan, her brother Nathaniel Joseph White III, a very special friend Joe Davis. She is also survived by several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and many cousins and friends. She will always be remembered as the most loving, selfless and caring mother, grandmother, aunt and sister who was always there to help those in need.
