Emily Faye Parker, born on May 11, 1943, in Salisbury, Maryland, passed away peacefully at her home in Delmar on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at the age of 83. She was the only child born to the late Otis and Martha (Hall) Pusey.

She was a beloved daughter, wife, cousin, and friend, and her remarkable spirit touched the lives of many throughout her life.

She will be remembered fondly by her cousins, step-children, church family, Harvest Ministries family and by all those who knew her generous heart and contagious enthusiasm for life. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William H. Parker, who passed in 2011.

With a passion for beauty and education, Faye worked for many years as a Clinique Specialist at Hecht Co. and Macy's in Salisbury, where her keen sense of style and dedication to her work made her a cherished member of the team. She also found joy in substitute teaching at Delmar High School, where she quickly became a favorite among her students and inspired countless young minds.

Faye was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Delmar for many years, and more recently attended Emmanuel Baptist in Salisbury. Her faith was evident in her commitment to helping others; she was an integral member of the volunteer team at Harvest Ministries in Delmar, dedicating countless hours to support her community.

Faye's wishes were to have no formal services.

She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and community spirit that will endure in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Harvest Ministries, P.O. Box 506, Delmar, DE 19940, ensuring that Faye's commitment to serving others continues to thrive.
