Elizabeth Faye Johnson, 72, of Salisbury, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. She was born on April 19, 1942 in Pocomoke City, the daughter of the late Granville Pennewell and Elizabeth Hurley Pennewell. Faye worked various jobs throughout the years; she worked in housekeeping in Ocean City for the Harrison Group, she raised chickens, and she worked as a bartender at the Berlin American Legion Post 123. She enjoyed cooking and especially loved the holidays. She is survived by two daughters, Terrie Trivitt (Richard) of Snow Hill and Angel Johnson of Salisbury; grandchildren, Rebecca "Rose" Trivitt, Christopher Allan Johnson, Dakota Trivitt, Christopher Adam Johnson, Stephen Truitt, Fred Johnson, and Jacob Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Cody Willey and Novaleigh Truitt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sons, Harvey, Steven Wayne and Kenneth Johnson; and a brother, Charles Pennewell. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Spence Baptist Church in Snow Hill. The Reverend Kenneth Elligson will officiate.
