Elizabeth Margaret Feldmeyer, 97, of Salisbury, died Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. She was born in Washington, D.C. on October 24, 1912, a daughter of the late Jim and Mamie Parks. Elizabeth grew up in Southern Anne Arundel County and worked for many years as a clerk for the Income Tax Division of the Comptrollers Office for the State of Maryland. She enjoyed being around people and worked also as a waitress at various restaurants. She was an active member of the Elks Club of Annapolis and enjoyed the friendships made throughout the club. Everyone that knew her knew of her love for bingo, playing cards and cooking. She treasured the memories made with her late husband, Fred, on their many boating trips and travels. She is survived by two sons, George W. Stallings and his wife, Jean of Millersville, MD and Allen Drury Stallings and his wife, Carolyn of Salisbury; a daughter, Linda Ruth Wood and her husband, Ed of Sherwood Forest, MD; nine grandchildren, John, Scott, Pat, Gay, Mike, Jeff, Cathy, Todd and Bryan; and several great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, John Stallings, Perrie Norfolk and Frederick Feldmeyer, Jr. A graveside memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery in Annapolis. The Reverend Debra Latture will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Coastal Hospice at the Lake, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD 21802.
