Elizabeth Ann Dunston, 67, of Delmar, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury. She was born October 7, 1954, in Virginia, a daughter of the late James Carey and Margaret Christopher. In her younger days, she worked at the Campbell Soup Co. in Salisbury then several years at the High's Dairy Store in Seaford. However, her most important job was being a mother and grandmother. She was an excellent writer and loved writing letters, watching television, playing bingo and online games with friends. She is also remembered for the love she had for her cats. She is survived by children, Stacie Ennis and husband Greg, Lori Hastings and husband Rob and Cynthia Gonzalez and husband Francisco; step-son, Sean "Mike" Dunston; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; a brother, David Christopher; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a longtime friend, Oscar Herbert "Peanut" Dunston; and 3 companion cats. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Bruce James Hastings; a step-daughter, Thelma May Dunston Yates; brother, Ralph Christopher; and sisters, Blenda Probst and Karen Leasia. Graveside services were held at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Humane Society of Wicomico County, 5130 Citation Dr, Salisbury, MD 21804.
