Elizabeth "Tiny Bab" Dennis, 78, of Pittsville, passed away on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at her home. She was born on July 14, 1942 in Berlin, Maryland, a daughter of the late Walter Avery Timmons and Nancy Bell (Truitt) Timmons. Elizabeth retired from Wells Fargo after working many years as a security officer. After retirement, she spent her years devoted to caring for her son, Mark. She loved her little dog "Ju Ju" and her monkeys, "Lena" and "Tessie." She always enjoyed listening to country music, especially Conway Twitty. She is survived by her son, Mark Dennis; two special nieces, Nancy Moore and Donna Bell; and a special friend, Evelyn Hartsell; and many more nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Billy Dennis; siblings, Raymond Timmons, Roland Timmons, Lola Florence Elliott, Wilsie Plummer, and Hilda Timmons; and a special nephew, Roland Avery Timmons, II. Funeral services will be private. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
