Eleanor T. Kenney, 93, of Salisbury passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Wicomico Nursing Home in Salisbury. She was born on November 10, 1928 in Millville, Delaware, the daughter of the late Elmer Burt Tingle, Sr. and Mildred Phillips Tingle. Eleanor worked for Benjamin's Clothing Store in Salisbury for many years. She enjoyed watching mystery shows and was a wonderful cook. She is survived by her brother, Elmer "Bob" Tingle, Jr.; nieces, Jill Walston and June Rachels; and a nephew, Joel Tingle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ethan Allen Kenney; and brothers, Phillip James "Jim" Tingle and Melvin Tingle. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at St. Stephens Cemetery in Delmar. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
