E. Ruth Becker,90, of Seaford, Delaware, and formerly of Baltimore, Maryland, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Methodist Manor House. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of the late John and Lillian Neubauer. Ruth was a dedicated employee of the Baltimore County Public Schools for many years. She was also an active member of Zion United Church of Christ, Golden Ring Road, serving on the church council and in the Sunday school. She enjoyed taking bus trips, playing bingo, and playing with her grandchildren when they were younger. Ruth is survived by her son; Carl Becker (Donna) of Lancaster, PA; her daughter, Carol Barker of Seaford; grandchildren, Julie and Kevin Becker, Rebecca Trivits and Patricia Johnson; and great grandsons, Cameron and Ashton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl F. Becker. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Zion United Church of Christ, 7146 Golden Ring Road, Baltimore, MD 21221. The Reverend Robert Ridenour will officiate. Interment will follow at Gardens of Faith Memorial Gardens, 5598 Trumps Mill Road, Baltimore.
