Dorothy Jane Bostic, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Delmar on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on August 7, 1935, in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Dorothy was the daughter of Homer Roy Sleek and Amy Adela Sleek.

She was a loving mother to her daughter, Cindy Horton (Robert), and her son, Brian Bostic (Emily). Dorothy was the proud grandmother of three wonderful grandchildren: Alexander, Aaron, and Anna; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Bostic. 

A service to honor Dorothy's life will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, at 12:00 PM in the chapel of the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery, 6827 East New Market Ellwood Road, Hurlock, Maryland.
