Doris Mae Taylor Robertson, 81, of Salisbury, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 10, 2009 at Anchorage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Salisbury. She was born on April 4, 1928 in Princess Anne, Maryland, a daughter of the late Ralph and Anna Wilson. She was a member of Delmarva Evangelistic Church in Salisbury, and previously served as a minister with several churches on Deal Island. She is survived by her daughter, D. Virginia Mitchell of Delmar; grandchildren, Michelle Cook of Virginia, David Mitchell of Elkton, Maryland, Angie Holodick of Delaware, Jennifer Perdue of Snow Hill, Becky Bratten of Berlin, Zach Taylor of New York and John Mitchell of Charleston, South Carolina; nine great grandchildren; a brother, Bobby Wilson of Charleston, South Carolina; a sister, Irene Willing of Salisbury; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Maxwell Lee Robertson, a son; Tony Taylor; and a sister, Gladys Whitelock. A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2009 at Faith Baptist Church on State Street in Delmar. Pastor Ken Johnson will officiate. Interment will follow the service in Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
