Doris V. Hastings Webb, 74, of Delmar, died Monday, December 3, 2007 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. She was born in Delmar on October 9, 1933, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Gladys Smith Littleton. Doris was a proud homemaker and an excellent cook. In addition to raising her family, she also worked helping her husband raise chickens. She was always involved in the many activities and sporting events of her family. She is survived by her husband of almost 55 years, Harold L. Webb, Sr.; 2 daughters, Cathy Mariner and her husband, Rob of Columbia, MD and Karen Raley and her husband, Stephen of Delmar; 3 sons, Harold L. Webb, Jr. and his wife, Melissa of Milford, Jack Webb and his wife, Sharon of Delmar and Sam Webb of Delmar. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Hastings. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 7, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street, Delmar, where family and friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00. Interment will be held at Line Cemetery in Delmar.
