Donna Lee Truitt, 73, of Laurel, went home to be with her three beloved boys on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford. She was born on March 10, 1942 in Salisbury, the daughter of the late Jack and Ruth Elliott. Donna was manager for the Delmar Drive-In for many years, and also worked for Williams Coin Laundry in Delmar. She enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles and was a fan of Elvis. She is survived by three sons; Rex A. Jones of Salisbury, Mark A. Jones and his girlfriend Connie of Parsonsburg, and Melvin D. Truitt and his wife Mackenzie of Florida; grandchildren, Eliza King, Kyle Truitt, Jessie Truitt, Jessica E. Jones, Brian Mitchell, Marvin and Lisa; a great grandchild, Wyatt; and a very special friend, Ann Webster of Delmar. She was preceded in death by three sons, Jessie King, Wayne Burton Jones, Jr., and Billy Burton Jones; and a friend, Eddie Adkins. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm. on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury.
