Donna Marie Jackson, 60, of Delmar, died Friday, December 5, 2012 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. She was born in Lowville, NY, a daughter of the late Robert A. and Colleen Shirley Campany. Donna proudly served her country in the US Army. After discharge from the Army and starting her family, she worked many years in food service and cafeteria work. She began her food service work at Delmar Elementary School before working in the dining hall at Salisbury University, a job she loved for over 21 years. She was a faithful member of Faith Baptist Church in Delmar. She enjoyed cooking, baking and crocheting. She is survived by a son, Dean Robert Bliss and his wife, Noor Aarohi, of Leesburg, VA; a daughter, Michelle Lee Blaisman and her husband, Timothy of New Mexico; 6 grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her good friend and caregiver, Della Jones of Delmar. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
