Donna Lynn Harrington, 68, of Delmar passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. She was born on July 28, 1941, in Greensboro, Maryland, the daughter of the late William and Elizabeth (Imorde) Carroll. Donna was known as "Aunt Pie" to her family. She was a fun-loving person who cherished times spent with family, enjoyed working in her yard and laughing with friends. She is survived by her loving son, Eric Lee Harrington and his wife, Billie Jo, of Wyoming, Delaware; three grandchildren, Wm. Nathan Hutson, Samantha Hutson and Brandon Harrington; her husband, Merrill E. Harrington of Delmar; a step son, Bruce Wayne Harrington of Salisbury; four sisters, Fay Downing, Norma Minner Rooks, Dianne Wagner and Nancy Tull, all of Salisbury; several nieces and nephews, and a very close friend, Phyllis Tyler, and many more friends that she enjoyed being with. In addition to her parents, a brother, Lester Carroll, Jr, preceded her in death. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Short Funeral Home, 13 East Grove Street in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
