We are sad to share that Donald "Don" A. Robinson, II, a kind-hearted, friendly man, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at his home in Delmar, MD. He was born on January 11, 1947, a son of the late Donald A. Robinson, Sr. and Bernice Wines. He spent his life dedicated to his work as a security guard at Howard County Hospital and Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis. Don grew up in Northern Virginia where he attended military schools until graduation. After several years of college, he proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. Don was a people person who was known for his outgoing personality. He had a passion for painting landscapes and lighthouses, finding solace and tranquility in capturing the beauty of nature. His deep faith in God guided him through life's challenges and brought him comfort in times of need. Above all else, Don cherished spending time with his beloved wife Susan Robinson and treasured moments with his grandchildren. His devotion to his family was unwavering, and his love for them knew no bounds. As we reflect on Don's life, we remember a man who lived with purpose and gratitude. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all those who had the privilege of knowing him. He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 36 years, Susan Elizabeth (Maher) Robinson; sons, Christopher James Robinson of Florida and Matthew Donald Robinson of Delmar; daughter, Bernice Robinson; wonderful grandchildren, Christopher, Kyle, Vallerey and Caleigh; sister, Linda Bozocky (Laslo); brothers, Martin Robinson (Callie) and David Robinson; and several nieces and nephews. Last but not least, he is survived by his special four-legged sidekick, "Cory." Funeral services and ceremonies to honor Don's memory will be announced in the coming days. In his honor, let us join together to celebrate his life and the impact he had on all those around him. Don may have left this world, but his spirit will forever remain with us.
