Donald C. Burke, Sr., 73 of Laurel, Delaware, died Sunday, February 27, 2011 at his home in Laurel. He was born June 12, 1937 in Oella, Maryland, a son of the late William and Ethel Burke. Before retirement, Mr. Burke owned Baltimore Cleaning Services in Baltimore County. He was a member of the Laurel Baptist Church. He began a food ministry in Laurel, serving many churches that had families in need. His hobbies included hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sheila Lee Burke; two sons, Donald Burke, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Bel Air, Md, and Patrick Burke and his wife Stacy of Baltimore Highlands, Md; five grandchildren, Nicholas Warfield, Tyler Burke, Matthew Burke, Julia Burke, and Dalton Burke; his beloved cat "Kit Kit"; and many wonderful friends and his very loving church family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Burke, Jr., and a daughter, Susan Marie Burke.
