Dillon Taylor Wien, 31, of Tampa, Florida is now resting in the arms of Jesus. He passed away on June 28, 2023. Born June 15, 1992, he graduated from Delmar High School in 2010 and moved to Tampa in 2015. He fell in love with the Sunshine State and lived life to the fullest until his passing. He attended Radiant Church in South Tampa. Dillon spent his life as a jack of all trades including HVAC, irrigation installation, painting, and personal training. Although surfing was his greatest passion, he loved anything to do with a board: wakeboarding, skateboarding, snowboarding. He also loved riding his motorcycle, sketch drawing, weightlifting, and spear fishing. If it involved adventure or thrill seeking, it involved Dillon. He is survived by his mother, Wendy Lecates, of Laurel, his father, Paul T. Wien, Jr (Tricia) of Salisbury, his sister Meagan Campbell (Jared) of Salisbury, and his brother Chad Wien (Sarah) of Laurel, three nieces, Taylor, Alexis, and Mia, and one nephew, Deacon. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom he loved and who loved him. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, July 7, 2023 at Short Funeral Home in Delmar. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 3C USA Church, 38238 Old Stage Road, Delmar, DE 19940 where a visitation will also be held from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Pastor Jared Rittenhouse will officiate.
