Diane Lynn Wingfield, 76, of Delmar, passed away Friday, May 26, 2023 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury. She endured years of health issues but remained a fighter through it all. She was born November 19, 1946, in Cleveland Heights, PA, a daughter of the late Jack and Dorothy Keefer. In her younger days Diane worked at Perdue before taking a job at Panera Bread, where she worked the past several years. Diane had fond memories of going to Phillies games with her father and loved NASCAR and football. She had a huge heart for family and friends and faced every day with a smile. She also loved to travel and especially enjoyed camping and trips to the beach. Lovingly remembering her are her husband of almost 38 years, Kevin Wingfield; son, Ricky Joseph; daughter, Melissia Kelly; grandchildren, Alex Davis and Taylor Joseph; a great grandson; a sister, Donna Vykicevich and husband Gary; brother, Barry Keefer; best friend, Kelly King; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Dylan Joseph. A celebration of Diane's life will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at a friend's home at 36042 Columbia Road, Delmar, DE 19940.
