It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Delores O'Neal Springer, who departed this life peacefully on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the age of 87. Delores was born on March 23, 1939, in Lewes, Delaware, and spent her later years in Milford, Delaware.

Delores was a proud graduate of Laurel High School and had a fulfilling career as a service manager in the telecommunications industry, where she was a dedicated employee of AT&T. She was known for her unwavering commitment to her work and the joy she brought to those around her.

Beyond her professional achievements, Delores was deeply involved in her community. She was a beloved member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Laurel and demonstrated her compassion and dedication through her active participation in the Delaware Lions Club and the Leader Dog Program.

Delores is survived by her son, Edward Wayne Springer; her daughter, Elizabeth Kay Grabowski (Rick); her grandchildren, Matthew Grabowski (Jaclyn) and Ryan Grabowski (Noriko); and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Linwood and Myrtle O'Neal; her husband, Edward George Springer; her sister, Connie Louise O'Neal; and her brother Kenneth Lee O'Neal.

Funeral services for Mrs. Springer will be held at a later date. 

Delores O'Neal Springer will be missed but will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
