Obituary

Deborah Ann Justice, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the age of 70. Born on September 21, 1955, in Salisbury, Maryland, she was a daughter of the late Leslie Adkins and Ethel Florence LaManque. Deborah made her home in Georgetown, Delaware, where she worked as an office manager at Independent Resources.

She cherished her time with family and friends. Throughout her life, Deborah had a heart of gold. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her passions included her beloved cats, butterflies, and yellow roses. She found solace in nature, particularly in the simple joy of sitting on the beach, feeling the sand beneath her feet and listening to the soothing sounds of the waves.

Deborah is survived by her devoted husband, Stephen Mark Justice, Sr.; her loving children, Donald Lee Wilkins, Jr. (Michele), Lynda Burke, and Stephen Mark Justice, Jr. (Diana); her ten wonderful grandchildren who were the light of her life, Brittany, Jacob, Arielle, JT, Stephen III, Paul IV, Nathan, Skylar, Mariah, and Dallas; her brother, Raymond LaManque; and her sister, Sylvia Layfield. She also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Deborah's family cherishes the memories they created together and will always remember her kindness, laughter, and unwavering support. Her life will be honored in a private ceremony to be held at a later date, where her family will gather to celebrate her.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter, reflecting Deborah's love for cats and her caring spirit.
