Deborah Anne Dunn, 69, of Laurel passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at TidalHealth Peninsula Regional in Salisbury. She was born on November 28, 1952 in Salisbury, Maryland, a daughter of the late Frank Parsons and Julia Ann (Seymour) Parsons. Debbie and Phillip were married on February 16, 1974, almost 48 years ago. After the birth of their daughter, Debbie became a daycare mom, so she could enjoy raising Jennifer at home while also taking care of other children. She loved her work and remained in touch with many of the children she watched over the years. She was a caregiver to others, including her mom in her last years. She loved animals, especially her dogs: Minnie, Scooter, Ginger, and her late dog, Mickey. She later went to work for Comcast as a customer service representative, a career she enjoyed for over 23 years. Moreover, she and her husband loved cars and enjoyed traveling to Pennsylvania. She is survived by her husband Phillip L. Dunn; a daughter, Jennifer Anne Teagle (Eric); granddaughters, Annika Elizabeth Teagle and Alayna Addison Teagle; sister, Julia Francine Walbert (Wayne); and her brother-in-law, Jim Hitch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Lee Hitch. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 in St. Stephen's Cemetery in Delmar.
