It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David Lee Jorden, Sr. on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on November 24, 1956, in Baltimore, MD, Dave was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. 

Dave was the proud owner of Dave's Auto Glass, where he built a reputation for quality workmanship and a friendly smile. He truly loved what he did and took great pride in serving his customers. Dave was a dedicated member of the Salisbury Gun Club for 14 years, where he developed a deep passion for pistol shooting sports. Outside of work, he enjoyed camping, spending time with family and friends, and had a special appreciation for classic cars. Known for his sense of humor and generous spirit, Dave found joy in creating meaningful, one-of-a-kind gifts for those he loved. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he delighted in making them creative birthday cakes and handcrafted toy chests they will cherish for years to come. He was also a longtime member of Nelsons Memorial Church in Hebron, where his faith and community meant so much to him.

Dave is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Jorden, sons, Ben Jorden (Brittany) and Mike Jorden, and his beloved grandchildren: Hayden, Grace, and Riley Jorden. He also leaves behind his brother, Scott Jorden; brothers-in-law, Jeff Maines (Lisa) and Jim Maines (Lisa); and cherished cousins, Helene Holthaus, Joey Holthaus, Carolene Burke, Bernie Holthaus, and Joann Eisenhart. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Sadie Jorden; and his son, David Jorden, Jr. 

In honor of Dave's memory, a memorial service will be held May 2, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Nelsons Memorial Church, 200 Main Street, Hebron, MD 21830. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service.
