Cynthia Ann Bennett, 70, of Sharptown, passed away at her home on Monday, January 4, 2021. She was born in December 16, 1950 in Mardela Springs, a daughter of the late Arthur Brinsfield and Betty Littleton. Cindy graduated from Mardela High school with the class of 1969. After graduation she worked several jobs before deciding to stay home to raise her family. She enjoyed genealogy and traced her family's roots back many generations. Cindy loved to travel and considered Disney World and Las Vegas amongst her favorite destinations. Most that knew Cindy will remember her for her love of family and her cats and for her fascination with Elvis Presley. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Jack H. Bennett; a daughter, Jen Bennett and companion Darrin Short; a brother, Joe Littleton, Jr. and wife Bonnie, and their daughter Baylee; and a sister, Barbara Gravenor and husband Randy, and their son Kenny Marvil. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Short Funeral Home in Delmar. Due to current gathering restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required. Burial will be private.
