Connie M. Phoebus, 77, of Delmar, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, Maryland. She was born on May 6, 1945 in Salisbury, a daughter of the late Elsie and Kenneth Moore. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter and sister to all. Connie graduated from Delmar High School with the class of 1963. She was a former secretary for 35 years from Delmarva Power and a former office assistant for 5 years from Eastern Shore Regional Library. She was a fanatic Elvis Presley fan. Connie is survived by her children, Sandy Thompson (Brian) of Laurel, and Scott Phoebus (Shannan) of Bethel; siblings, Roger Moore (Tricia), Edna Melvin (Bill) and Jeff Moore (Melody) all of Delmar; grandchildren, Brandon, Kile, Kaleb, and Leah; nieces, nephews and her beloved pets Angel, Duke, and Precious. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Brad Phoebus. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron.
