Colleen M. Williams, 37, of Laurel, died Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at her home in Laurel. She was born in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, a daughter of Tom and Christine McIntyre of Port Charlotte, Florida. Colleen had various jobs as a bartender and sales clerk. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, Post 19 in Laurel. She enjoyed shopping, especially when she could hunt down a bargain. Summertime was her favorite time of the year where she loved sunbathing by the pool. For most of her life she wanted a dirt bike and was overjoyed when her husband, Steve surprised her with her very own. R&R Bar & Grill in Laurel was her favorite hangout, where she had many close friends. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 9 years, Steve Williams; a brother, Michael McIntyre and his wife, Christina of Pennsylvania; a sister, Chrissy Mellea and her husband, Mark of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2009 from 11:00 to 12:00 at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. All other services will be private.
