Clinton K. White, Sr., age 60, of Gumboro, died Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. He was born on July 5, 1947 in Salisbury, a son of the late William Lloyd White and Iva Worth Harrison. "C.K.", as he was known by his family and friends, proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He and his wife, Cathy were charter members of the Salisbury Baptist Temple. He loved his work as a contractor and owned and operated CK White Construction, Inc. for over 25 years. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Rae White; 2 daughters, Judy Lynn White of Lewes, DE and Jenny Elizabeth Lane and her husband, Jordan of Delmar; 2 sons, Clinton K. (C.K.) White, Jr., and his wife, Tamara of Laurel, DE and Jesse Daniel White and his wife, Sara Nicole of Delmar; 4 grandchildren and an additional granddaughter expected to be born next month; 2 brothers, Carby White of Connecticut and Harry White of Pocomoke, MD; and 3 sisters, Louise Swift, Shirley Insley and Daisy Duncan, all of Crisfield. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lorraine. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Salisbury Baptist Temple, Hobbs Road, Salisbury, where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00. The Reverends Carlo Leto and Oren Perdue will officiate. Interment with military honors will be held at Line Church Cemetery in Delmar.
