Obituary

SALISBURY- Clifton Glenn Malone, 81, died suddenly on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. He was born April 9, 1935 in Siloam, a son of the late Elizabeth and Harold Eugene Malone. Glenn served in the US Army for 2 years and was stationed in Korea. He worked for the Vernon Powell Shoe Company for over 50 years. For the past 13 years, he worked for Wicomico County as the Delmar convenience center attendant. He enjoyed stock car racing and surf fishing in his younger years. Glenn attended Cross Pointe Church of the Nazarene in Salisbury. His wife of 54 years, Peggy Joanne Bowden Malone, died in 2015. He is survived by two sisters, Ruth Ann Hurley and husband, Sedrick, Jr. of Hebron and Martha Cord of Delmar. His sister Margaret Foskey and husband, Russell and half sister, Marie Densen, preceded him in death. Glenn's surviving family includes a daughter, Andrea Leigh Malone Redden and husband, John; a son, Kevin Cooper Malone and wife, Stacie; and grandchildren, Kyle Redden and wife, Lindsay of Mechanicsville, Maryland, Kolby Redden and Emily Malone. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury. The Reverend Joel Beiler will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Cross Pointe Church of the Nazarene, 27765 Nanticoke Road, Salisbury, MD 21801 or the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
