Clifford A. Denney, 68, of Woodbine, Maryland died Wednesday, May 28, 2008, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, Maryland. Born in Warren, Ohio on July 20, 1939, he was the son of the late Floyd and Irene Denney. Mr. Denney retired from the Maryland State Parks as a State Park Superintendent. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and the outdoors. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Frederick and the Mason-Dixon Knife Club. He is survived by three sons, Jeffrey Denney and Carl Denney both of Ocean View, and Philip Denney and his wife Julie of Bridgeville; seven grandchildren, Rachael Denney, Jason Denney, Jeremy Denney, Christa Denney, Melissa Denney, Claire Denney and Zack Denney; two great grandchildren, Chloe and Brayden Denney; the mother of his children, Rita Denney of Bridgeville; and a sister, Joan Shockley of Salisbury.
