Clark W. Collins, 85, of Berlin passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin. He was born on December 15, 1929 in Pittsville, a son of the late William and Maggie Collins. Mr. Collins managed Collins Mobile Home Service and Lake Haven Trailer Park in Berlin. He later worked for Suburban Propane in Fruitland and Barrett Chevrolet. He attended Melson's United Methodist Church in Delmar. He enjoyed going to the races in Delmar and was a fan of NASCAR. He is survived by a daughter Gail Olson of Parsonsburg; two grandchildren, Walter Clark Collins and Jeffrey Lee Cox; two brothers, Lester and Harry Wootten; a sister, Faye Collins; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Frances E. Collins; a daughter, Sharon Helms; and a brother, Farrell Wootten. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held at a later time.
