Obituary

Ciro P. Sinagra, 83, of Mardela Springs, passed away on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. He was born on March 17, 1931 in New York, a son of the late Joseph and Frances Sinagra. Ciro served his country in the U.S. Army from 1949 to 1952. He then worked many years as a carpenter and drywall finisher. He loved hunting and was a member of the NRA. He is survived by a son, James Michael Sinagra(Paula Elliott) of Mardela Springs; two grandchildren, Kelly Rivera-Sinagra (Angel) of Mardela Springs, and Stacy Hall of Crisfield; three nephews, Bobby Sinagra and Lawrence Sinagra, both of Delmar and Johnny Scarpone of New York; and close friends, Jenny Joseph of Nanticoke and Jason Chance of Mardela Springs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Glenn Allan Sinagra and Joseph Patrick Sinagra. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 on Friday, August 1, 2014 at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar. A visitation for family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment with military honors will follow at Springhill Memory Gardens in Hebron. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
