Charlotte Ann Stephany, 72, of Seaford, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at Christiana Care Hospice in Newark surrounded by her loving husband, Van Leer Stephany, Jr. and close family friends, Tom Broughman and Trey Hastings. She was born on July 2, 1950, in Milford, Delaware, a daughter of the late Virginia Agnes (Lauer) Spear and William Alvin Spear. She worked over twenty years as a nurse at Methodist Manor House in Seaford. She had a passion for helping people especially in their later years and made many special relationships with others through her work. She was an avid reader and loved watching movies. Charlotte had a special place in her heart for her many cats. Services will be held privately at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Short Funeral Home in Delmar.
