Charles "Bill" William Faunce, 60, of Salisbury, passed away on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at his home. He was born on January 5, 1956 in Washington, DC, a son of the late Rose and Conrad E. Faunce, Jr. Bill was a 1974 graduate of Crossland High School in Temple Hill, Maryland. He retired from Deer's Head Hospital Center in Salisbury after 35 years of service. He enjoyed working on his 1968 mustang and listening to music. He loved spending time on the water, fishing and kayaking. Bill was a member of the Tony Tank Tribe #149 of the Redmens in Fruitland. He is survived by a daughter, Rebecca Elizabeth Faunce; brothers, Conrad E. Faunce, III and his wife Susan, and Michael J. Faunce and his wife Lisa; three nieces, Jami Morgan, Tracey Kent, and Kellee Schultz; and a nephew, Jacob C. Faunce. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Dialysis Unit at Deers Head Hospital, 351 Deer's Head Hospital Road, Salisbury, MD 21802. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Short Funeral Home, 13 E. Grove Street in Delmar.
