Charles Anthony Snyder Jr., of Delmar, Delaware, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2024, at the age of 74. He was born on May 20, 1949, in Baltimore City, MD, to his parents Charles A. Snyder, Sr and Maria (Paradisi) Snyder. Charles, known to friends and family as 'Charlie,' worked as a longshoreman at the Port of Baltimore for many years before retiring. He took great pride in his work and was dedicated to providing for his family. After retiring, Charlie and his wife Diane made their home in Delmar, Delaware, following a move from Dundalk. Over the years, Charlie had a passion for classic cars and spent much of his time restoring his beloved 1964 Fairlane Sport Coupe, a project that brought him much joy. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Diane L. Snyder; sister, Angela Borlik (Sue Lee); brother, Eugene Snyder (Sharon); and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William, John, Frank, and James Snyder. A service to honor Charlie's life and memory will be held at a later date.
