Charles B. Morris, age 94 of Cumming, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2010. He worked for the Civilian Conservation Corps before graduating from the University of Maryland. He was also a B-24 Pilot (15th Air Corps) during WWII. Captain Morris was a pilot with Pan American Airways for 30 years.
Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Sara Vinson Morris of Cumming; children, Charles B. Morris, Jr., and wife, Linda of Atlanta; Thomas V. Morris and wife, Judy of Baltimore; and Ann Morris of Big Canoe, Georgia; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives also survive.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 9th, at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel in Cumming, Georgia. A graveside service, with honors, will be held at Smith Mills Cemetery on Thursday, August 12th, at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend Howard Travers will officiate.
