Charlene Banks Nace, 56, of Parsonsburg, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 30, 1956 in Salisbury, the daughter of the late Guy and Iva Banks. Charlene was a member of Melsons United Methodist Church in Delmar, Maryland. She worked for Casual Designs in Selbyville. She adored her beloved pets, Hank, Bud, and Taco. She is survived by her husband, Gerald D. Nace; two step-daughters, Stephanie Nace of Florida and Melissa Long (Michael) of Laurel; two grandchildren, Timothy Dyson and Taylor Long; a brother, Guy Banks (Pamela) of Salisbury; a sister, Colette Banks (Sammy) of Gumboro; a sister-in-law, Doreen Jesse Matsick (Rich) of Pennsylvania; three nephews, Guy Banks, Jr., Danny Banks (Susan) and Aaron Brubaker; two nieces, Tracy Detrich (Paul) and Melissa Brubaker; and several cousins. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Short Funeral Home in Delmar. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the service. The Reverend William Kniceley will officiate. Interment will follow in Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury. In memory of Mrs. Nace, contributions may be sent to Coastal Hospice, P.O.
